The trek to the 2013 Sark Folk Festival began on Saturday 1st December 2012 with a night of, mostly, mellow folk at St Martin’s Parish Hall in Guernsey.
The ‘Folkal Point’ event featured the return to the islands of Ruth Notman who had been one of the top performers at the first ever Sark Folk Festival in 2010.
She was supported by festival stalwarts The Barley Dogs and newcomer Tim Bishop both of whom went down very well with the audience who had gathered in the unconventional, but perfectly suited, venue.
